QMD-PAY-500
Universal Payload Interface
Integrate the mission without redesigning the aircraft.
A standardized mechanical, power, and data interface architecture that turns mission equipment into quickly configurable UAS payloads — designed to stand on its own beyond the Quiver-MD ecosystem.
The catalog describes product families in development or planning. Production availability, technical data, and delivery timing are confirmed for each engagement.

WHAT IT SOLVES
What it solves
Payload integration is where UAS programs lose their schedules: every new sensor becomes a custom mechanical, electrical, and software project. The Universal Payload Interface packages the attachment plate, interface electronics, power, data, and mounting structure into one documented, repeatable interface — derived from an architecture with quick-release attachment interfaces designed in from the start.
Architecture
CAPABILITIES
- Standardized quick-release mechanical attachment
- Defined power interface
- Defined data interface
- Interface electronics under configuration control
- Integration documentation as part of the product
KEY COMPONENTS
- Payload interface PCB
- Payload attachment PCB
- Quick-release mechanical attachment plate
- Interface harness
- Mounting structure and fasteners
- Integration documentation
Technical specifications are configuration dependent and published per program. Detailed values not shown here are TBD — contact engineering.
Manufacturing and sustainment
MANUFACTURING
- 01 PCB assembly integration
- 02 Mechanical interface machining
- 03 Electrical verification
- 04 Serialized configuration record
SUSTAINMENT
- Payloads move between aircraft instead of being rebuilt
- Interface components replaceable independently of payloads
APPLICATIONS
- EO/IR and ISR sensors (designed for integration)
- Mapping and inspection payloads
- Communications and RF-sensing equipment
- Environmental sensing
- Public safety and logistics support payloads
- Specialized government payloads
INTEGRATION NOTE — Payload compatibility is established per program — 'designed for integration' means the interface is documented and repeatable, not that arbitrary equipment is pre-qualified.
